Ellis comes to Tactico with over 15 years of experience in sales, community building and business development. In this newly created position, Ellis is responsible for maintaining and developing the firm’s relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and founders/entrepreneurs from coast to coast. Ellis also focuses on elevating the firm’s presence within the venture capital industry in North America and regularly represents the firm at industry events, conferences, and seminars. Rick Ness, Managing Partner at Tactico, said, “We are thrilled to have Ellis join us. Ellis brings experience and energy to our efforts to provide access to exciting venture opportunities to a wider audience.” Prior to Tactico, Ellis founded a Montreal-based hedge fund where, as managing partner, he successfully raised several millions of dollars from HNWIs across Canada. Ellis started his career at[Dundee Wealth Management](https://www.dundeewealth.com/) and helped the firm raise upwards of $15M in assets from private clients before transitioning to[TD Private Wealth](https://www.td.com/ca/en/investing/wealth/private-wealth-management/) where he quickly established himself as a driving force behind capital raising.
